The short version. Cortex Slime Defense does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Your progress is saved on your own device and nowhere else.
Cortex Slime Defense is made and published by David Pendergrass, trading as Pro Guild ("we", "us"). If you have a question about this policy, contact us at organizemydesk@gmail.com.
None. The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera, advertising identifier, or any other personal information. It contains no analytics or crash-reporting service and no advertising network.
So that the game remembers where you got to, it saves the following locally, using your device's ordinary app storage:
This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app deletes it, and there is no backup we hold that could restore it.
Uninstalling the app removes everything it saved. On Android you can also wipe your progress and keep the app, from the phone's Settings → Apps → Slime Defense → Storage → Clear data. Inside the game, Settings → Switch playthrough → Delete removes one playthrough and leaves the other untouched. None of this can be undone, and we hold no copy that could restore it.
The installed app plays entirely offline — all artwork, code and audio ship inside it. It does not connect to our servers, because there are no servers for it to connect to.
The Android version does declare the "Internet" permission, and it is worth saying exactly why, because the store listing shows it: the app serves its own bundled files to its own screen over a connection that never leaves the phone. That is the only thing the permission is used for. It is the app's only permission — there is no storage, camera, microphone or location access.
If you play the game in a web browser from a server you have set up yourself, that server may keep a copy of your save so the same progress appears on your other devices. That is a self-hosted arrangement between you and your own machine; we neither operate nor have access to it.
Slime Defense is suitable for all ages and is designed to be safe for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anybody, it collects none from children either. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no chat, no user-generated content and no links out to social media.
The app contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. If you paid for the app itself, that transaction was handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies; we receive sales reports that contain no information identifying you.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from any third-party host — the typeface and every image are served from this domain. Our web host records ordinary server access logs, which may include your IP address, for security and troubleshooting.
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. All game data is under your control on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
If a future version of the game changes what it does with data, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change before that version is released. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on the App Store and Google Play.
